Study Trips With Teachers

Now your Intensive English course becomes super intensive. Study-trips with teachers in private cars. 3-4.5 hours, with a maximum of 5 students per teacher. Visit interesting tourist attractions with the teachers and practice your English in real situations. At the end we visit a pub or café and have a review of vocabulary and mistakes .

“I spent 4 weeks in MovingOn courses.. First of all, be prepared for more than you expect from a full immersion English course.
Sharing the same house with the teachers increases the speed of learning English but… sitting with them on the same table, travelling and even preparing snacks together is incredible.
The classes were according to the levels of the students, they were very careful in terms of the topics and the effective use of time.
Also after dinners the motivation speeches and encouraging suggestions from Gavin gave us endless energy for the homework :)))
The idea of sharing the same house in the beginning has caused me some stress but Gavin and Sonia have a highly friendly attitude and their helpfulness felt me at home from the very first moment.
The general hygiene conditions of the house and the quality of the meals
was great.

“Before I decided to attend this immersion course I had expected really intensive English lessons but still, it really exceeded my expectations…

…It was truly an immersion course, about 12 hours of English a day ⏳. Morning lessons were in small groups, in my case it was 2 students a group. All lessons were focused on parts that we wanted to improve. Afternoon activities were a bit less formal English classes, such as study trips or some entertainment activities, for example bingo, however always focused on English. We always had great discussions during lunch and dinner, and again these discussions were very friendly and relaxed English lessons. Accommodation was great, a very comfortable room with private bathroom. Bangor is a picturesque town on Irish coast near Belfast. It was really easy to get there, 20 minutes from airport ✈️.

I highly recommend this immersion course to everyone who wants to improve their English communication skills quickly. I’m writing this review from a 2 weeks perspective after the course, and I see that this course really helped me. I speak much better English and I feel more confident in conversations , especially at work.

“Hi, I spent four weeks in Bangor in „moving on courses”. It was a great time for me. I had an opportunity to speak English 24/7. No one is speaking another language than English so finally you have no choice. It’s a total immersion with 100% speaking English. Apart from having “normal” lessons you spend all your day with other students, teachers and school’s owners (Sonia and Gavin; Sonia is also an excellent teacher). People are together during lunchtime, dinnertime, afternoon and evening. You have no time to be bored. All the time someone asks you a questions and you are forced to answer them even if you have no idea what they are asking about :-). Apart from English, our lunches and suppers were very tasty. It was a big choice of food and you can always eat whatever you wanted. If you are going to stay longer for sure you’ll put on weight :-). The atmosphere is very friendly and you are treated like a part of the big family. It’s a great place to learn language as well as have a good time. ”
