    MovingOn Courses has been offering its own  English Language Courses for over 15 years.

    We do not have a secret method for learning English. We simply guarantee that you will be speaking English and listening to English all day long with our teachers.

    The concept started when, at the request of some students, our Director and two friends organised a trip around Scotland. Before agreeing to this, he insisted on English classes every morning and 100% use of English so as to maintain the focus on English learning. The 100% English learning experience had dramatic results and it was soon obvious that the trip had been a beneficial Language Learning Experience, as well as an enjoyable holiday. It may sound dramatic but a different English Language course was born.

    The MovingOn Courses English Language Schoool is based in Spain during most of the year and returns to U.K or Ireland for our Summer English Courses. We can choose the very best locations for our Summer English Language Course and change location every year. In 2010 we will be in Cork, a beautiful port in the south of Ireland.

    Here is a list of previous quality locations that we have chosen for our students to learn English in:

    Galway, Bath, Bristol, York, Edinburgh, Exeter, Stirling, Cotswolds and Scottish Highlands.

    Please note that our English Language Courses never take place in cities such as Dublin or towns on the south-east coast of England. The reason is that there are so many Language Schools and so these locations are focal points for English learners.     English Courses for Adults:

    • MovingOn Courses has an average of 3.5 students per teacher during 12 hours per day. These figures refer to our summer courses when most other English Language schools have extra big classes.
    • Language schools tend to have an average of 9 to 12 students and are often left to occupy their own time during the afternoons.
    • English Courses are available throughout the year (average 1.5 students/teacher)
    • Specialist Courses are available throughout the year (average 1.5 students/teacher)

    English Language Courses for Kids:

    Please note this English Course is relatively new and follows the basic concept of the adult course, which is: the more contact with native teachers the better.

    This course started 4 years ago in Cork with 15 students, then in Exeter with 25 and in 2007 (in York) we had 42 students. We now maintain our maximum number of students at 45 divided into 6 or 7 groups.

    The maximum for 2010 is 45 students so we recommend booking early.

    • MovingOn courses has an average of 6.5 students per teacher during 12 hours/day. This figure refers to our summer course.
    • English with special activities is available on request.
    • If your school has a special requirement please let us know.

    A new English course for 2010 is a no frills English Language Course aimed at young adults who do not want to have a full day of English. Many students will be Spanish as they receive a special grant (or beca) that allows them to attend our course for free. So as to make this a real English Language Course and not a Spanish language course we will make this beca mec course especially cheap to other nationalities.
