We guarantee a maximum of 6 students per teacher (although the average is 4). Many courses mention reduced or small groups but these may only be in low season. If they do not specify and guarantee the maximum number of students then you should check with the academy before booking.

Provided your booking is at least one month in advance you can be sure we will provide the appropriate English Classes. We apply a small supplement of about 80€/week.

This is a common problem in English language courses during the busy Summer months, especially in the south east of England and touristy parts of Ireland. We choose to avoid such locations so you have more contact with the locals. MovingOn asks its students to sign a contract which requires the payment of a fine for the use of any language other than English. This is possible because you will almost always be near a teacher. The fine is 20 cents for every occasion. This money is later shared between all the students. Consider it a possibility to gain a discount. However, if this worries you, choose another course.

Students arrive and leave every week, some stay 1 week, others up to 8 weeks. Therefore we try to be flexible so that everyone has the chance to visit the most interesting locations.
If you want to visit the Cliffs of Moher, go sailing or attend the Cobh Regatta etc,

Every week has a different profile but in general our average age is slightly higher than that of other courses because the course attracts people that need to learn English Fast and don´t have a lot of free time. For this reason the teachers try to spend as much time as possible with the students.

The accommodation offered by the University of Cork is of a higher standard than most universities. Rooms with a bathroom are available for a small supplement of 15€/week.

Firstly, you will have homework, a part “compulsory” and another optional according to your own needs and interests. We recommend our DVD library or socializing with other students and teachers. There are various pubs near the residence.The accommodation is located at 20 minutes (on foot) from the city centre. The bus stop is opposite the accommodation and takes 5 minutes.

Our adult summer course will run for 8 weeks from 06/07/08 to 30/08/08 only. If you wish to do a course at another time, we have homestay and intensive week and weekend options. Tell us your dates and we will let you know the options.

Yes, provided that your child´s stay coincides with yours. If we have space on the bus then the transfer is free.
